Common Questions
Everything you need to know before bringing AimX to your range.
Ask Us AnythingYes. The AimX Echo is a self-contained unit that mounts at the target end of a standard 10m range. It requires a standard power outlet and either a WiFi network or a wired Ethernet connection to the scoring station. No structural modifications to your range are needed.
For wireless use, a standard 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi router within range of the target is sufficient. The AimX Echo and the device running AIMX One must be on the same local network. For wired use, a standard Ethernet cable run from the target to a network switch or router is all that is needed. No external internet connection is required for operation.
Yes, completely. AIMX One and the AimX Echo communicate over your local network only. All session data is stored locally on your device. An internet connection is only needed to download the app or receive software updates.
AIMX One supports multi-target sessions and can manage several AimX Echo targets within a single session — ideal for range setups with multiple shooting lanes. Contact us for details on your specific facility size.
The AimX Echo achieves ±0.2 mm detection accuracy with a scoring resolution of 0.01 ring — comparable to leading international EST systems. Unlike optical systems, acoustic triangulation is unaffected by lighting conditions, dust, or physical target paper, making it reliable in real-world range environments.
Yes. AIMX One is currently available for free on Android, iOS, and Windows. All core features — live session scoring, event management, shot analytics, and profile management — are included at no cost.
AIMX One runs on Android (phones and tablets), iOS (iPhone and iPad), and Windows PCs. A device with WiFi capability and a screen large enough to comfortably view shot plots is recommended. Tablets are ideal for dedicated scoring station setups.
The AimX Echo is engineered to comply with ISSF 10m Air Rifle and Air Pistol technical specifications, including target dimensions, scoring zones, and detection accuracy requirements. For official sanctioned competition use, please contact us so we can provide documentation for your federation.
The AimX Echo is designed for straightforward installation. Most technically inclined range managers can complete the setup using the provided installation guide. We also offer assisted setup support via phone and email. For large-scale institutional deployments, on-site installation assistance can be arranged — reach out to discuss.
The AimX Echo includes a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. Damage from misuse, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear is not covered. For defects reported within 48 hours of delivery, we arrange replacement or repair at no charge.
Use the contact form on this page or email us at info@aimxscore.com. Include details about your facility — number of lanes, discipline, and connectivity preference — and we will respond with a tailored quote within 3 business days.
